Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ein Stein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leo Yaj (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yaj has chosen Hey mr. DJ as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Robert Douchet and Alec Ball.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yaj takes a swing at Stein's ribcage but misses.
Stein uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Yaj.
Stein shoots in for a takedown but Yaj shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Stein slips under a jab from Yaj.

Stein moves into the clinch.
Stein tries to break the clinch but Yaj is controlling the position.
Yaj misses with an elbow over the top.
Stein taking a breather.
Yaj trying to land knees to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Yaj lands a nice knee to the body.
Yaj throws an elbow that misses.
Stein tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Yaj just stands there and leans against the cage.
Stein has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Yaj is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Stein is trying to maintain a safe position but Yaj gets an underhook and turns Stein into the cage.

Yaj throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Stein blocks it with crossed arms.

With the fighters up against the cage, Yaj throws an elbow but misses.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Stein tries to pull guard but Yaj won't allow it.

Yaj tries to work over Stein's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Yaj tries to land a knee to the head but Stein blocks with his arms.

Stein avoids the elbow strike from Yaj, against the cage.
Yaj lands an elbow inside.
Yaj can't find room to land a body shot as Stein controls the action.
Yaj misses with the head strike.
Stein tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Yaj smiles and moves away.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Yaj moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Yaj lands with an uppercut that bounces Stein off the cage and back into range.
Stein avoids the body shot from Yaj.
Yaj takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Stein displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Yaj throws out the jab.

A telegraphed right hand from Stein misses the target.
Yaj throws out a counter right but Stein avoids it with no problem.
Stein tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Yaj swivels and escapes.
Yaj will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Stein throws a shot to the body.
Stein with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Yaj misses with a hook
and Stein counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Stein misses with a hook.
Yaj let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Stein defending well as Yaj loads up on a big left hand.

Yaj swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Stein swings widly with a right hand
and Stein takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Stein lands with a straight right. Yaj didn't see that one coming.
Stein walks into a jab.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Yaj leaves Stein with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Yaj swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Yaj shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Stein pinned against the cage. Stein gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Leo Yaj dominated that round.

and Yaj counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

and Stein counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Yaj thinking.
Stein takes a swing at Yaj's ribcage but misses.
Yaj throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Stein attempts a counter takedown but Yaj avoids it well and moves away.
Stein moves out of range of the strikes.
Stein shoots in looking for a takedown. Yaj tries to sprawl out of it but Stein keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Yaj manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Yaj swings for the body but Stein moves out of range.
Stein takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

and Yaj counters with a straight right hand.
Yaj misses with a wild body shot.
Stein moves away from the strike by Yaj.
Stein changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Stein shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Yaj pinned against the cage. Yaj gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Yaj throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Stein counters with a nice body shot.
Yaj misses with a right hand
and Stein counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Yaj has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Yaj dives in and scores a takedown into Stein's guard.
Stein seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Yaj content to stall in guard here.

Stein looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Yaj is defending well. Stein quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Yaj has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Stein celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.

After the fight, Ein Stein was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
