Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Wm Bryan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alonzo Branch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Branch has chosen The Heart Part IV as his entrance music. Branch has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Alonzo Branch has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Wm Bryan's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bryan clinches up with Branch and pushes him back against the cage.

Bryan drops down looking for an ankle pick but Branch pulls his leg out and moves away.

Despite the aggression on Branch's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Bryan is on top in guard.

Bryan rushes Branch and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Bryan breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Bryan dives in and grabs Branch's left leg, looking for a takedown. Branch pushes down on Bryan's head and hops out.
Bryan moves into the clinch.
Branch is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Bryan lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Branch wants to get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Bryan shoots in looking for a takedown. Branch tries to sprawl out of it but Bryan keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Branch manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Bryan fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Branch sprawls well initially but Bryan persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Branch wants to stand back up but Bryan manages to pass into side control.

Bryan is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

Branch is breathing heavily.
Branch wants to get back to his feet but Bryan is dominant here and he's now got Branch's back!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bryan has got one arm under Branch's chin. This could be trouble... Branch trying to control the other hand but Bryan gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Branch has tapped out! The fight is over!
