The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Knowles could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Knowles shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Loveland but Loveland pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Knowles wants to control the pace but Loveland is squirming around nicely.

Knowles fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Loveland manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Knowles keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
Loveland wants to get back to striking at distance but Knowles won't allow it.
Knowles is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Loveland gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

That was a close second round but I would say that Marcel Knowles will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Loveland wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
A punch lands to the side of Knowles 's head but he takes it in his stride.

As Loveland looks to move away, Knowles throws a big counter combo but Loveland just gets out of the way.
Knowles doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Knowles takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Knowles has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Knowles there as he acknowledges the shot.
