Coming up we have a middleweight kickboxing rules bout between Duncan Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and DBrickashaw Stevens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Duncan Smith!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, DBrickashaw Stevens!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Smith throws a lazy head kick
and Stevens counters with a straight right hand.
Stevens throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Smith tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Stevens is able to avoid easily.
Smith throws a head kick but Stevens moves out of range.
Nice defenses there by Stevens.
Stevens misses with a left hand
and Smith cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Stevens drops his hands momentarily and Smith takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Stevens digs a good body shot into Smith's ribs.
We've been informed that Stevens has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Stevens avoids a kick to the body.
Smith throws a sloppy head kick and Stevens moves out of range easily.
Stevens throws a hook to the side of Smith's head but Smith sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
The fighters circling - Stevens throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Smith defending well as Stevens loads up on a big left hand.
That kick from Smith tenderised Stevens's leg. Stevens is trying to keep his angry face on.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Smith throws the kick towards the body but Stevens avoids it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Smith tries a head kick but it misses.
Stevens thumps Smith with a low kick.
A swing and a miss from Stevens.
Smith on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Smith connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Stevens scores with a nice strike.
Smith moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
A big right from Stevens misses.
Stevens tests Smith's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Smith pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Stevens lands with a shot to the body.
Smith pulls out of a head kick attempt.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Smith missing with a left hand there. Stevens was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Stevens throws a right hand that misses
and Smith counters with a one-two to the body.
Stevens avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Smith misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Stevens lands with a thumping leg kick.
Smith takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Stevens lands a body shot.
Smith throws a head kick that misses.
Smith tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Smith lands a head kick!
Smith tries to land a front kick but Stevens steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Stevens shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Smith on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Smith moves away from the strike by Stevens.
Stevens lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Stevens throws a head kick but Smith moves out of range.
Stevens checks the leg kick nicely there.
Smith misses with a combination
and Stevens counters with a nice uppercut.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but DBrickashaw Stevens will probably get the nod.
That's time! Back to the action!

Smith is rocked!
Stevens connects with a crushing straight, right on the bridge of Smith's nose, sending him crumpling to the mat! That's really rocked Smith - is he going to beat the count??? 4,5,6,7,8,9.....10 - he's not made it - this one is all over!
