The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machado moves into the clinch.
Machado lands with a light punch inside.
It looks like Hugh Heath has been cut.
Machado is leaning against Heath and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Machado turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Machado manages to end up in side control.
Heath could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Heath tries to strike but it doesn't land.
Machado in side control lands a decent elbow.
Machado is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Heath will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!
Heath regains half guard.
Heath has hold of Machado's hands but Machado slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Machado slips a nice elbow through Heath's hands, connecting with Heath's forehead.
Hugh Heath's cut is getting worse.
Machado takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Heath is rocked!
Hugh Heath's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Machado is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Heath is hurt! He's hurt bad - Machado fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Heath from any more punishment! Congratulations to Machado! Great finish!
