Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tom Dwan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Happy Gilmore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these fighters are unbeaten, so somebody's 0 has got to go!The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, David Schapiro and Eddie Farnsworth.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dwan misses with a hook. Gilmore ducked under it nicely.
Dwan swings for the body but Gilmore moves out of range.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Dwan, as that shot connected.
Dwan throws a series of punches but Gilmore moves out of range.
Dwan swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Dwan throws an overhand right that lands on Gilmore's shoulder, as Gilmore tries to avoid the shot.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Gilmore keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Gilmore drops back, looking for a kneebar! Dwan looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Dwan looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Dwan!

Dwan is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Gilmore's shoulder. That is not cool.

Dwan is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Gilmore is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
