Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between UR Subbed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vane Nighthawk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Subbed shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Subbed was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Subbed seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Nighthawk is holding on tight.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Nighthawk closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Nighthawk depends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Subbed's arms.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Nighthawk feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Nighthawk postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Subbed is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Nighthawk, into his guard.

Subbed looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Nighthawk with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
