Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jackson Souza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Aldo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Daniel Cesar and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aldo misses with a few strikes there.
Souza shoots for a takedown but Aldo saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Souza swats away the attempt to clinch by Aldo.
Aldo goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Souza shoots in looking for a takedown. Aldo tries to sprawl out of it but Souza keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Aldo manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Souza's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Aldo is looking to escape.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
You can see the frustration on Aldo's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Souza has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Aldo!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Souza working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Aldo turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Souza off and cradles Aldo's limp body as Souza celebrates with his corner.
