Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Samu Paelinck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Holden Easterly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Gregory Folan and Dillan Fox.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paelinck displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Easterly.
Paelinck pivots, looking for a leg kick but Easterly is out of range and Paelinck settles back down.

Easterly rushes Paelinck and presses him up against the cage.
Easterly looking for a takedown.
Easterly goes for a takedown attempt but Paelinck pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Samu Paelinck has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Holden Easterly.

Easterly takes the fight into the clinch.
Easterly lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Paelinck working some nice short punches in the clinch.

It looks like Holden Easterly has been cut.
Paelinck can't find room to land a body shot as Easterly controls the action.
Paelinck tries to work over Easterly's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Easterly tries for a takedown. No joy.
Easterly pushes Paelinck back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Easterly is looking for a takedown.
Easterly is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Paelinck is defending well.
Easterly trying to land knees to the body.
Paelinck lands with a short shot to the head.
Paelinck blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Paelinck prevents the takedown attempt.
Easterly goes for a takedown attempt but Paelinck pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Paelinck throws a leg kick but Easterly checks it.
Paelinck looks to land a body kick but Easterly moved away.
Paelinck attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Samu Paelinck is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
A jab from Paelinck finds it's way through Easterly's defenses.

Easterly rushes Paelinck and presses him up against the cage.
Easterly has Paelinck pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Paelinck manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Easterly is looking to take this one to the mat.
Easterly is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Paelinck lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Paelinck stops a takedown attempt from Easterly.
Easterly is trying to pull guard but Paelinck turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Paelinck.
Easterly can't get the takedown.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Paelinck.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Paelinck lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Easterly is rocked!
Paelinck makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Easterly is still on wobbly legs! Can Paelinck finish him?
Paelinck avoiding damage.

Paelinck drops Easterly onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Easterly is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
Come on Paelinck - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Easterly swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Paelinck lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Easterly to his knees! Paelinck keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
