The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Durling falls off balance throwing a combination

and Collins counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Collins.
Durling wants to get back to his feet but Collins passes into half guard.

Collins lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Collins prevents Durling from standing back up.

Collins is working for a kimura but Durling is defending it quite comfortably.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Collins stops Durling from getting back to his feet.

Durling tries to get to full guard but Collins has control of the leg.
Collins could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Collins in particular looking to stall.

Collins is looking for a kimura but Durling is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Collins to get the leverage.
Durling is trying to stand back up but Collins is controlling him

Collins is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Durling sees it coming and defends easily.
Durling is looking to control Collins's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Durling avoid being mounted?

Durling wants to get back to his feet.
Durling wants to control but Collins is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Durling is pressing down on Collins's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Collins won't allow Durling to sweep him here.
Collins stands up over Durling, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Collins throws a big right hand that misses.
Collins's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Durling is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Collins is controlling him.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

And Collins counters with a quick kick to the body but Durling blocks it.
Durling looks winded!

Durling changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Collins looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Collins is looking to reverse the position.

Durling is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Collins looks calm but he's in trouble here. Durling gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Collins is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Durling lets go of the hold and Collins can pop his arm back in it's socket.
