Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tom Gentry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Piro Ursa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ursa closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Ursa is looking to advance position but Gentry won't allow it.

Ursa stands up and beckons Gentry to join him on the feet.

Ursa closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Ursa ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Ursa no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Gentry drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Ursa manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Gentry has Ursa in his guard.

Ursa passes Gentry's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Ursa takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Gentry knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ursa on the ground.

Ursa not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Gentry really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Gentry is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Ursa pulls his head out easily.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Ursa in particular looking to stall.
Ursa is looking to advance position but Gentry won't allow it.
Well, if Ursa is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Gentry swings for the body but Ursa moves out of range.

Ursa drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Gentry is looking to get back to his feet here but Ursa is keeping cool and he's managed to take Gentry's back.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Even with his hooks in, Ursa manages to miss with strikes from the back.

Piro Ursa dominated that round.

Ursa throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Ursa closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Gentry to the mat! Gentry manages to get full guard.
Ursa postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Ursa scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Gentry to see if he's OK.
Ursa tries to move into full mount but can't pass Gentry's legs.

Ursa has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Ursa thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Ursa has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Gentry!
Ursa misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Ursa wants to finish this one by submission but Gentry is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Ursa.

Ursa sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Piro Ursa has got the better of the ground game so far.

Ursa with shots to the head and body - Gentry looks very uncomfortable down there.

Ursa tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Gentry avoids a series of strikes thrown by Ursa.
Ursa takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Let's hope that Ursa has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Ursa moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Gentry has worked his arm free - good work by Gentry!

Piro Ursa showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Ursa misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Tom Gentry is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Ursa shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Gentry napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Ursa stands up and beckons Gentry to his feet.
Oh Gentry is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Ursa shoots in for a takedown. He's got it... He's hoisted his opponent over his head and is carrying him over to the other end of the mat. The crowd roars in approval and Ursa slams his opponent to the mat. OH, that is naaaaaasty! He's out! Ursa lands a punch to his unconscious victim for good measure before the ref has time to call the fight.
