Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between sonny bishop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Simon Pegg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). bishop kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is ard boddy. Simon Pegg told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Paul Tew and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
bishop looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Pegg has his hands clasped together around bishop's back. He's all about the action.
bishop is nestled in close to Pegg, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Pegg is looking for a sweep. bishop is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
bishop is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Pegg gets full guard.
Pegg trying to control the position.
bishop trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
bishop wanted to stand there but Pegg had control of the position.
bishop lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Pegg controls bishop momentarily but bishop frees himself.
bishop has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
bishop wants to stand but Pegg is controlling his posture from full guard.
Pegg pulls bishop in close to prevent any damage.
bishop has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Pegg is proving hard to escape from.
bishop postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Pegg looking for a sweep. Not yet Pegg, not yet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pegg has bishop pulled in close to control his posture.
bishop trying to control but Pegg is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
bishop is sitting in close to Pegg's body. Pegg has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! bishop is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, bishop is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Pegg.
