The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Valmarsson. No joy for Stamos on that attempt.
Stamos tries to score a power double leg takedown but Valmarsson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Stamos somewhat.

Stamos closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Valmarsson is being controlled here.
Stamos throws a strike aimed at the side of Valmarsson's head but Valmarsson avoids it well.
Stamos wants to stand but Valmarsson has his arm trapped.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Valmarsson has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Stamos tries to improve his position but instead Valmarsson has taken his back!
The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Valmarsson's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
Stamos is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Valmarsson is looking for the choke from the back position but Stamos is controlling his hands well.

Valmarsson is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

Valmarsson has got one arm under Stamos's chin. This could be trouble... Stamos trying to control the other hand but Valmarsson gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Stamos has tapped out! The fight is over!
