Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dimi Karalopolous (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Riki Ahmad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ahmad on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

It looks like Riki Ahmad has been cut.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Ahmad looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Karalopolous throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Ahmad was covering up waiting for the punch and Karalopolous finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Ahmad wants to stand and escape but Karalopolous is having none of it.

We've been hearing that Karalopolous has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Ahmad can do anything to dispel that myth.
Karalopolous lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Karalopolous connects with a nice short shot to Ahmad's temple.

Ahmad is rocked!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ahmad pushes Karalopolous off looking to stand but Karalopolous dives back in and keeps control.

Karalopolous wants to take a breather but Ahmad is having none of it.
Karalopolous is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Ahmad is hurt! He's hurt bad - Karalopolous fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Ahmad from any more punishment! Congratulations to Karalopolous! Great finish!

Dimi Karalopolous opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
