Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lewis Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Farouk Al Ahwei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Al Ahwei has chosen Whirling Madness as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Al Ahwei misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Lee.
A punch combination from Lee misses.
Lee swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Al Ahwei takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Lee moves out of range of the body kick.
Al Ahwei swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
An attempted straight right counter from Lee misses the target.
Al Ahwei on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Lee rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Al Ahwei moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Al Ahwei is taking a breather. Lee says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Lee might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Al Ahwei is looking for submissions but instead, Lee has regained full guard.

Al Ahwei goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Lee rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Al Ahwei's guard! Nice work there by Lee!
Al Ahwei is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Lee is aware though and is defending well.

Al Ahwei throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Lee escapes and throws Al Ahwei's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Lee tries to advance to mount but can't.

It seemed like Al Ahwei was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well Al Ahwei has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
