Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Keiji Mutou (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ian Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Smith has chosen Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap by AC/DC as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Ian Smith has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Keiji Mutou's chin.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mutou moves to clinch but Smith breaks away
and Smith counters with a left to the body.
Mutou swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Mutou gets a takedown into half guard.
Smith wants to control but Mutou is keeping busy.
Mutou prevents Smith from improving his position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Smith is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Mutou's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Mutou's back!

Smith is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Smith gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Smith gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Smith apologises and we restart here on the feet.
Smith tries to land a leg kick but Mutou saw it coming and moves away.
Mutou tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Smith manages to circle out of the way.
Keiji Mutou seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mutou fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Smith looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Ian Smith is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Mutou throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Smith stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Smith takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Mutou takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Mutou is looking to wear down Smith with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Smith misses with a hook.
Mutou tries for a takedown but Smith circles away easily
and Smith counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Mutou shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
