Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Byron Malik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harold Hari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hari has chosen King Drum as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

With a record of 15 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Harold Hari!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Malik gets tackled into the cage by Hari. Hari maintains the clinch.
Hari stops a takedown attempt from Malik.
A nice right hand lands inside from Hari.

Malik turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Malik manages to end up in side control.
Malik works to advance to full mount. Hari defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Hari looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

We've been hearing that Malik has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A lull in the action here as Malik stalls from top position.
Hari is looking to regain half guard here but Malik keeps moving and retains side control.
Hari throws a couple of punches but he's in a bad position and they don't land.

Malik's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Malik tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Malik takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Hari tries to reverse the position but Malik maintains control.
Hari is still trying to improve position.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Malik has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.

Hari steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Malik.

Hari clinches up with Malik and pushes him back against the cage.

Malik is trying to drag Hari to the mat but Hari just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Malik is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Malik blocks an elbow strike.
Hari lands a nice uppercut.
Hari throws a punch but it's blocked by Malik.
Malik is trapped in a tight thai clinch here. Hari pulls him left and then right before unleashing a vicious knee to the head. Oh damn - Malik is out cold! That's some serious business! What a knockout!
