Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Masamichi Yamaji (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rude Moogle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yamaji comes into the arena with Forgotten Places by Max Ablitzer blaring out of the sound system. Moogle has chosen Ocean Drive as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, James Atkins and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moogle misses with a body shot.
Yamaji looks to score with a jab to the body but Moogle is just out of range.
Yamaji catches Moogle with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
It looks like Rude Moogle has been cut.
Yamaji has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Nemesis Gym in the buildup to the fight.
Yamaji tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Moogle on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Yamaji. Yamaji obviously looking to wear him down.
Yamaji throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Moogle throws a lazy uppercut
and Yamaji counters with a nice right hand that sends Moogle toppling to the canvas! Moogle scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Yamaji finish him?!
Moogle is rocked!

Yamaji misses with a body shot.
Yamaji throws a nice looking combination but Moogle bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Moogle swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Yamaji throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Moogle takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Yamaji tries to land a front kick but Moogle steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Yamaji throws a body shot but no joy.

Yamaji fails to land with a series of punches.
Moogle throws a leg kick but Yamaji moved away.

Moogle forces Yamaji back against the cage and clinches.
Moogle tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Yamaji lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.

Moogle feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Yamajis jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Moogle misses with a jab, cross combination.
Moogle checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Moogle dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Yamaji. That did some damage!
Moogle throws a combination. Yamaji tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
It looks like Masamichi Yamaji has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Moogle connects with a solid leg kick.
A big right from Yamaji misses.
Yamaji slips a jab and a cross from Moogle.

Moogle throws a right and a left that both miss.
Moogle throws a lazy right hand but Yamaji sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Moogle throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Yamaji counters with a nice low kick that buckles Moogle's knee momentarily.
Yamaji moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
A telegraphed right hand from Yamaji misses the target.
Yamaji throws a leg kick but Moogle moved away.
Moogle pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Moogle blocks a leg kick.
Moogle now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Moogle lands with a thumping leg kick.
Moogle tests Yamaji's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Yamaji has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Moogle finds it's way round the side to connect with Yamaji's head.
Moogle swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Moogle lands a jab.
Moogle throws a combination that misses
and Yamaji counters with a crisp one two that drops Moogle! Yamaji thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Moogle to his feet! Moogle is in big trouble!
Moogle is still on wobbly legs! Can Yamaji finish him?
Yamaji moves out of range of the body kick from Moogle.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Yamaji throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Yamaji throws a right hand that Moogle ducks under and follows up with a left that Moogle also avoids with ease.
Moogle looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Moogle swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Moogle seems to have recovered his senses.
Moogle connects with a body shot that sends Yamaji's belly button to the back.
Moogle drops his hands momentarily and Yamaji takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
and Yamaji counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Moogle! He's just covering up as Yamaji starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Masamichi Yamaji!
After winning the bout, Masamichi Yamaji thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
