The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Griffithson stuffs the takedown.
Griffithson tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Holman throws a lazy head kick
and Griffithson counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Griffithson has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Holman is proving hard to escape from.

and Griffithson counters with a three punch combo that has Holman backing up. Holman nods at Griffithson to acknowledge the strikes.

Griffithson takes a little break here. Holman wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.

Holman has his foot on Griffithson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Griffithson works his way back into a safe position though.

Griffithson connects with a superb combination that knocks Holman out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Griffithson before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Holman!
