Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Raymond (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricardo Machado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machado throws a body punch but Raymond moves out of range.
Machado rushes Raymond and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

It looks like John Raymond has been cut.
Raymond is fighting off a takedown attempt but Machado is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Raymond to the mat. Raymond regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Raymond will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Machado postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Raymond covers up, he's hurt! Machado keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Machado and the ref steps in to end the fight! Machado can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
