Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mason Kim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vike Nickolson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Mason Kim!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 9 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Vike Nickolson!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Santiago Holmes and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nickolson moves into range and clinches up with Kim.
Kim tries to break free but Nickolson pushes him back against the cage.

Kim breaks from the clinch.
Nickolson slips a straight right by Kim.
Kim looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Kim looks to score with a jab to the body but Nickolson is just out of range.
Kim misses with a kick to the body.
Kim goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Kim shoots in for a takedown but Nickolson shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
A nice side step and Nickolson releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
A looping hook to the body misses from Kim. Nickolson does a little dance to reset his feet.
Nickolson swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Kim throws the kick towards the body but Nickolson avoids it.

Nickolson has taken the fight to the clinch.

Nickolson breaks from the clinch.
Nickolson fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Kim on the side of the head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kim looking to land some kicks to the body here.

Nickolson darts in and clinches Kim up against the cage.
Kim trying to control the position but instead, Nickolson has worked for underhooks and has pushed Kim into the cage.
Kim tries to break free but Nickolson pushes him back against the cage.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kim's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Kim wants to break free but Nickolson has control.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Nickolson creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Nickolson keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Kim's efforts to push away.
Nickolson lands a body shot in the clinch.
Nickolson is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Kim has had enough of the clinch but Nickolson keeps him there for the moment.
Nickolson scores with a hook to the body.

Nickolson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Mason Kim seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nickolson staying out of range there.
Kim scores with a push kick.
Nickolson stuns Kim with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Nickolson closes the distance and clinches.
A left hand lands to the body for Nickolson.
Kim is breathing heavily.
Nickolson throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Nickolson working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Nickolson escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kim throws a lazy head kick

and Nickolson counters by moving into the clinch.

Nickolson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Kim tries a low kick but Nickolson avoids it.
Nickolson let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.

Nickolson closes the distance and clinches.
Nickolson lands an uppercut.
Kim wants to break free but Nickolson has control.
Nickolson content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Nickolson keeps control of Kim as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Nickolson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
and Nickolson counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Kim! He's just covering up as Nickolson starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Vike Nickolson!
Vike Nickolson took to the mic after the fight and begged the organizational hierarchy for a shot at the title.
