Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Deluxe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and The Bad Guy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, The Bad Guy!
The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Winston Alpacca and Sandra Marshall.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Deluxe swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Guy throws out a leg kick but Deluxe moves out of range and Guy only half commits.
Deluxe misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Guy.
Nice uppercut there from Deluxe.
Guy throws a solid leg kick but Deluxe takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Guy.
Deluxe throws a jab when Guy was well out of range.
Deluxe tries to clinch but Guy moves out of range.
Guy takes a jab right on the kisser.

It looks like The Bad Guy has been cut.
Deluxe swats away the attempt to clinch by Guy.
Deluxe circles away from the clinch attempt
enabling Deluxe to counter with a crisp jab.
Deluxe has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Deluxe fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Guy lands a jab to the head.
Guy has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Deluxe finds it's way round the side to connect with Guy's head.

Guy is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Guy waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Deluxe.
An attempted straight right counter from Deluxe misses the target.
Deluxe ducks under a wild hook from Guy.
A shot to the liver by Guy. Beautiful body shot.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A chopping leg kick lands by Guy.
Crunch! Guy slams his shin into Deluxe's torso.
A low kick from Guy is predictable there

so Deluxe counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Guy really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Deluxe. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Deluxe is in close to Guy's body, working some short punches and elbows.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Deluxe throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Guy works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Deluxe working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Deluxe won't allow Guy to sweep him here.
Deluxe scoring with punches to the head and body.
Guy is still in real trouble! Can Deluxe finish him?
Deluxe works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Guy seems to have recovered his senses.
Deluxe seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Guy does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Guy wants to get back to his feet.
Guy wants to get back to full guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Deluxe throwing shots but Guy is blocking nicely.
Deluxe working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

The cut above The Bad Guy's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Deluxe scoring with strikes to the body and head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Deluxe lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

The Bad Guy's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at The Bad Guy's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
