Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Damien OQuinn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Humbert Humbert!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Paulsen Ambrosius and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Humbert displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as OQuinn throws out the jab.
OQuinn ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Humbert moves away.
Humbert shoots in but no luck this time.
OQuinn throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
OQuinn throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
OQuinn connects with a good right hand that stumbles Humbert. Humbert circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Humbert ducks under a wild hook from OQuinn.
OQuinn throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Humbert with the counter takedown but OQuinn avoids it easily.
OQuinn throws an ugly left hook that misses

and Humbert counters with a takedown into side control.
OQuinn is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Killer Instinct ☠ that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.

That's one minute gone in the round.
OQuinn is looking to reverse the position.
OQuinn knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Humbert on the ground.

Humbert wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by OQuinn, who protects the arm well.
Humbert moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.

Humbert tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Humbert has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
OQuinn tries to improve position but can't.

Humbert tries for a kimura but OQuinn is defending well.

OQuinn is looking to regain half guard here but Humbert keeps moving and retains side control.
Humbert just content to control the position.
OQuinn is looking to reverse the position.

Humbert is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. OQuinn is trying to escape and Humbert transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and OQuinn is forced to tap! Nice work there by Humbert! Very nice indeed!
