The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kasimov circles away from the clinch attempt.
Kasimov throws a leg kick but de Bakker moved away.
Nice takedown defense from Kasimov. No joy for de Bakker on that attempt.
No joy there for de Bakker, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Jimmy de Bakker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
de Bakker avoids the head kick by Kasimov.

de Bakker tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kasimov paws at him with a jab and circles away.
de Bakker rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kasimov moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Kasimov fails with a takedown attempt.
The fighters circle momentarily. Kasimov darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

de Bakker takes a body punch but keeps moving.
de Bakker throws a right hand that Kasimov ducks under and follows up with a left that Kasimov also avoids with ease.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Kasimov.
Kasimov swats away the attempt to clinch by de Bakker.

Kasimov connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Kasimov stuffs the takedown.
de Bakker is breathing heavily.
Kasimov lands with a shot to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kasimov drops de Bakker with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but de Bakker looks back up at him and smiles so Kasimov waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

de Bakker is rocked!

Kasimov darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! de Bakker's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Kasimov before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
