The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Santiago Holmes and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hellsfyre misses with a takedown attempt - Dodson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
A shot to the body from Dodson misses
and Hellsfyre counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Hellsfyre controlling the pace.
Hellsfyre is pressing down on Dodson 's thigh, looking to free his foot. Dodson is holding on for now.
Hellsfyre content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Dodson is trying to stand up here but Hellsfyre is controlling him well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hellsfyre landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Hellsfyre is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hellsfyre takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Dodson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hellsfyre on the ground.
It looks like Hellsfyre might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Hellsfyre is working for a kimura but Dodson is defending it quite comfortably.

Hellsfyre is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Dodson !
Hellsfyre takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Hellsfyre is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Dodson can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

You get the feeling that Dodson really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Hellsfyre fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Dodson is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hellsfyre throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Dodson has his hands clasped together but Hellsfyre breaks the hold and Dodson is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Hellsfyre!
