PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Billy Bush (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joel Leone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Billy Bush has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Billy Bush seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bush walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Bush showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Leone.
Bush half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Leone looks to score with a jab to the body but Bush is just out of range.
Leone listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Bush lunges at Leone with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Leone's hand.
Some wild striking there from Leone.
Leone misses with an uppercut
and Bush counters with a one-two to the body.
Bush avoids the body shot from Leone.

Bush closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Leone quickly recovers to half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Nice strikes from Bush there.
Bush lands with a punch from half guard.
Bush wants to pass the guard but Leone is defending well.
Bush thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Leone's head.

Bush seems to be looking for submissions.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Bush lands a nice short elbow.
Bush not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Bush takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Leone is looking to control Bush's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Leone avoid being mounted?

Bush has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Leone defend it? Bush steps over the head and cranks it - Leone is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Bush!
