Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joshua Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Phil High (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joshua Jackson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Phil High!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Ben Zyskovitsi and Johanna Lukiainen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

High closes the distance and clinches.
Jackson has had enough of the clinch but High keeps him there for the moment.
Jackson tries to break free but High pushes him back against the cage.
Jackson pushes off an throws an elbow but High leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

High breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Jackson connects with a crisp jab.
Jackson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

High rushes Jackson and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
I was talking to Jackson's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
High struggles to land a body shot inside as Jackson controls his hands.
Jackson misses with a knee to the head.

Jackson manages to break the clinch.
Jackson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but High manages to avoid it.
High showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Jackson.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jackson throws a sloppy body shot
and High counters with a left and a right that stings Jackson.
High throws a front kick that sends Jackson stumbling back into the cage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jackson throws a right hand that High ducks under and follows up with a left that High also avoids with ease.

and High counters with a straight right hand.
High slips a jab from Jackson.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from High! But no joy.
High takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Jackson tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but High was well out of range. Poor timing from Jackson.
Jackson misses with a body punch
and High counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Jackson scores with a three punch combo!
High misses with the combination.
High blocks a jab.
High doesn't manage to clinch there - Jackson circles away.

High moves into the clinch successfully.
High misses with a hook to the ribs.
High softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
High gets through Jackson's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, High creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
A nice right hand lands inside from High.
High pushes Jackson against the cage. High is working some dirty boxing. High pushes off with a quick right hook! Jackson goes down! Jackson tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! High moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
