Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Holden Easterly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Herman Munster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Munster gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Easterly to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Munster is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Easterly throws a big right hand that misses.
Munster looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Easterly working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Easterly postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Easterly being controlled here momentarily.
Easterly throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Easterly loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Munster preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Munster has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Munster is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Easterly is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Munster is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Munster has escaped and now he's on top!

Easterly has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Easterly controls Munster momentarily but Munster frees himself.

Munster avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Munster distracts Easterly with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Easterly looking for a sweep. Not yet Easterly, not yet.
Munster lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Munster connects with a couple of short punches.

Easterly is rocked!

It looks like Holden Easterly has been cut.
Munster chips away with some ground and pound.
Oh Easterly is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Munster gets to his feet and stands over Easterly, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Easterly felt that one! Munster unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Easterly from any more punishment!

Herman Munster decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
