Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Puukko Punkkari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gregor Gricie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Punkkari clinches up with Gricie and pushes him back against the cage.
Gricie is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Punkkari scores with a knee to the head.

It looks like Gregor Gricie has been cut.
Gricie takes a knee right on the jaw!
Gricie changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Punkkari fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Punkkari tries to clinch but Gricie is having none of it.

Gricie fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Punkkari sprawls well initially but Gricie persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Gricie is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Punkkari tries to get to full guard but Gricie has control of the leg.

Gricie is looking to advance position but Punkkari won't allow it.
Punkkari is pressing down on Gricie's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Punkkari escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Gricie gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Punkkari is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Gricie drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Gricie jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Punkkari has his foot on Gricie's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Gricie works his way back into a safe position though.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Gricie drops back looking for a leg! Punkkari is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Punkkari manages to kick Gricie off! Gricie jumps back into Punkkari's guard.
Gricie looks gassed!

Punkkari throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Gricie is pushing down on Punkkari's leg trying to pass to half guard. Punkkari is fighting to maintain full guard but Gricie has managed to sneak the leg through.

The fighters are battling for position here. Punkkari manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Gricie is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Punkkari has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Gricie is looking to defend but Punkkari has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Gricie! Punkkari pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Gricie taps out and this one is all over!
