Wells has chosen TPB Theme as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Ricky Wells has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wells misses with a hook. Garcia ducked under it nicely.
Garcia takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Wells blocks a head kick by Garcia.
Wells swings widly with a right hand
and Garcia counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Wells lands with an uppercut that bounces Garcia off the cage and back into range.
Wells lands a really nice looking cross but Garcia seems unphased.
Garcia is breathing heavily.
Wells lands with a good body shot.
Wells connects with a looping right hand.
Wells waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Garcia. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Garcia to the canvas! Can he finish him!?
Garcia is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Wells stands up over Garcia, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Oh Garcia is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Wells postures up, still in guard. A huge hammer fist lands that bounces Garcia's head off the mat! Garcia is out! He's out! Wells jumps to his feet and celebrates with his corner!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Ricky Wells!
During a confident post fight interview, Ricky Wells thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
