Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Leroy Nguyen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rodrigo Hernandez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Leroy Nguyen has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Leroy Nguyen seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hernandez shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Nguyen as he jumps to the side.
Hernandez fails with an attempt to clinch.
As Hernandez looks to move away, Nguyen throws a big counter combo but Hernandez just gets out of the way.
Hernandez tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Hernandez tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Nguyen manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Rodrigo Hernandez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hernandez throws out a loose jab but Nguyen uses good head movement to avoid it.
Nguyen blocks a head kick by Hernandez.
Hernandez fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Hernandez throws the kick towards the body but Nguyen avoids it.
Hernandez throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Nguyen closes the distance and clinches.

Nguyen pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Hernandez shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Nguyen pinned against the cage. Nguyen gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
A nice combination there by Nguyen.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hernandez wants to clinch up but Nguyen keeps it at a distance.
Nguyen feinted with a counter takedown.
Hernandez fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Nguyen rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hernandez moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Nguyen fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Nguyen misses with a few strikes there.

Nguyen clinches up with Hernandez and pushes him back against the cage.

Nguyen breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Nguyen throws a right and a left that Hernandez avoids nicely.
As Nguyen backs off Hernandez throws a huge counter combo but Nguyen manages to avoid it all.
Hernandez shoots and misses

and Nguyen counters with a takedown into side control.

Nguyen tries for a kimura but Hernandez is defending well.

Nguyen is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Hernandez tries to get back to half guard but can't.
