Nice uppercut there from Tua .

It looks like Evandro Guedes has been cut.
Tua dips to his left and cracks Guedes with an uppercut!
Tua uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Guedes.
Tua thows a left - swing and a miss!
Guedes swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Tua counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Tua keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Guedes.
Guedes ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Tua moves away.
Guedes defending well as Tua loads up on a big left hand.
Tua keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Tua cracks Guedes with an open hand slap.

Tua looks to score with a jab to the body but Guedes is just out of range.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Tua throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Guedes displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Tua throws out the jab.
Guedes takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Tua ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Guedes moves away.

Tua throws a looping overhand right but Guedes ducks down to avoid it.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Tua connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Evandro Guedes's cut is getting worse.
The fighters circling - Tua throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Guedes was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Tua lands a slapping body shot.
David Tua seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Tua lands a left and a right that send Guedes crashing to the mat, dazed. Tua thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Tua looks to throw the jab but Guedes is out of range.

Tua drops Guedes with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Guedes looks back up at him and smiles so Tua waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Guedes is rocked!
Tua fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Guedes square on the jaw! Damn, Guedes is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!
