Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Yoko Gushiken (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pozar Pozar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pozar is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by z Buta Wjeżdzam. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 35 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Pozar Pozar!
The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Vladimir Khabensky and Aleksei Zolotukhin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown attempt by Pozar or perhaps it was just good defense by Gushiken, which made it look bad.
Pozar takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Gushiken is pushing Pozar's head away, looking to escape. Pozar manages to hold on to the position though.

Pozar tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Pozar has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Pozar is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Gushiken knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Pozar tightens his grip and picks Gushiken up, before dumping him to the ground. Gushiken manages to land in guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Gushiken has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Pozar has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
Gushiken goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Pozar changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Gushiken fights it off and pushes away nicely.
A decent looking cross lands there for Gushiken.
