The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Madrox throws out a powerful jab.
Madrox throws a head kick but Routh moves out of range.
Routh tries to counter with a clinch but Madrox shakes him off and moves away.

Routh jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Madrox walks away with a smile on his face. Routh gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Madrox misses with a double jab.
Despite the aggression on Routh's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Madrox jabs at Routh's body.
Routh is looking to clinch but Madrox is avoiding it.
Madrox connects with a right that clearly hurt Routh. He's backed up against the cage with nowhere to go as Madrox proceeds to tee off with vicious combinations till Routh collapses and taps out under the pressure!
