Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Russ Mcclure!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mo Schilling!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Bruno Hogan and John Mangel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schilling turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Schilling throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Mcclure feinted with a counter takedown.
Schilling throws a right and a left that Mcclure avoids nicely.
Mcclure throws a big counter combination but Schilling scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Schilling throws a nice outside leg kick.
Schilling takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Schilling tries to land a front kick but Mcclure steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Mcclure really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Mcclure kicks Schilling off and gets back to his feet.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Schilling is looking to clinch but Mcclure is avoiding it.
Schilling tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Mcclure manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Mcclure half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Schilling shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Mcclure eats them both and turns towards Schilling to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Oh Mcclure is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
No joy there for Mcclure, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Mcclure keeps control of Schilling as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Mcclure will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Schilling up against the cage.

Mcclure will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Mcclure is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Schilling has escaped the position, nice work there.

Mcclure decides to stand up, so the ref orders Schilling to his feet.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Schilling takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Mcclure went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
