Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mikey Havoc (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Bugaev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Havoc comes to the cage accompanied by Ready Steady Go. Mikey Havoc has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Yves DeLean and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bugaev throws a head kick that Havoc semi-blocks.
It looks like Mikey Havoc has been cut.
Bugaev lands a body shot.
Bugaev takes one to the chin there.
Havoc takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Havoc connects with a right hand. Bugaev shakes it off.
Bugaev uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Havoc.
Havoc takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Havoc misses the shot to the body.
Havoc swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Bugaev lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.

and Havoc counters with a right hand that sends Bugaev tumbling to the canvas! Can Havoc finish him? He dives into Bugaev's guard looking to do just that!
This has been an exciting period of action!

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Bugaev is on top in guard.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Bugaev working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Bugaev working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Havoc doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Havoc manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Mikey Havoc.
