The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bay misses with a two punch combination.
Bay shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Smith eats them both and turns towards Bay to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

It looks like Johnny Smith has been cut.
Bay throws a series of punches but Smith avoids them all with ease.
Bay seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Bay steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Smith. That one must have hurt.
Bay falls off balance throwing a combination
and Smith counters with a stiff right hand.

Bay drops Smith with a nice combination! Bay dives into Smith's guard, looking to finish!

Bay loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Bay gets to his feet and stands over Smith, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Smith felt that one! Bay unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Smith from any more punishment!

Hello Bay decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
