Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Dilbert The D!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Robin Buesching!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The D shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Buesching's guard.
Buesching looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
The D looking to pass the guard.
Buesching is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
The D slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

The D decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Buesching, up you get!

The D fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Buesching, pushing him back against the cage.
Buesching tries to land knees in the clinch but The D avoids the damage to the body.

Buesching has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics The D uses from the top position.
The D is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

That's one minute gone in the round.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The D trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
The D stands up over Buesching, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

The D gets to his feet - Buesching follows without any prompting.

Buesching gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The D passes into half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The D controlling the pace.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The D works his way into side control.
Buesching is trying to escape the position but The D is controlling the position.

The D is working to tighten is grip on Buesching's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Buesching has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but The D is really squeezing tight and eventually Buesching passes out! The D breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:04 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Dilbert The D!
