The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Mac or perhaps it was just good defense by Stevens which made him look bad.
Stevens blocks the body kick.
Stevens stuffs the takedown attempt from Mac. Mac gets slowly back to his feet.

Stevens changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Mac looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Mac struggling a bit here.
Stevens creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Mac sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Mac gets back to half guard.
Mac wants to control but Stevens is keeping busy.
Mac wants to get back to full guard.
Stevens is thwarting Mac's attempts to control the position.

Mac is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Stevens's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Stevens's back!
Stevens biding his time here by controlling the hands, looking to escape.

Mac has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.

Stevens is trying to roll into a better position but Mac has get a rear naked choke and Stevens is forced to tap out! This one is allllll over!
