Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jonnhy Four!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, James Neil!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Donatello Bradman and Skip Squint.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Neil lands a really nice looking cross but Four seems unphased.
Four connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Neil's hands.
Neil tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Four was well out of range. Poor timing from Neil.
Neil throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Four stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Four fails in his attempt to clinch.
Neil walks into a stiff left hand from Four.
Four pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Neil throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Four sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Four tries to close the distance and clinch up but Neil swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Neil drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Four defends it well.
Four throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Four takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Neil is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.

Neil cracks a nice hook into Four's ribs.

Jonnhy Four is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Four fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Neil looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Neil punishes Four's body with a nice straight punch.
Neil uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Four.

and Neil counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Four!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Neil sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Four is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
The ground and pound from Neil seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

Neil lands a strong strike to the head of Four. That's dazed him! Neil looking to finish here. Four is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Neil lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). James Neil!
James Neil made sure to give a little speech post fight, saying 'Just hit my music and let's go.'.
