Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Striking Champion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Corey Truck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Striking Champion looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Truck buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Champion instigates a clinch.
Champion lands a nice uppercut.

Truck works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.

Champion is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Champion misses with a shot to the kidneys.
I was talking to Champion's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Nice elbow from Champion.

It looks like Corey Truck has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Truck breaks from the clinch.
Donk. Champion catches Truck right on the button with a cross.
A punch combination from Champion misses.
Champion throws a hook but Truck avoids it easily.
No joy there for Truck, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Truck.
Champion connects with a solid leg kick.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Truck shoots in for a takedown but Champion shows good takedown defense.
Truck misses with an uppercut.
A telegraphed right hand from Truck misses the target.
Champion thumps Truck with a low kick.

Truck tries to keep at a distance but Champion has taken the fight into the clinch.
Truck takes a knee right on the jaw!
A short uppercut from Champion.
Champion lands a damaging elbow.

That has opened up Corey Truck's cut even more.
Champion goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Champion.
Champion has the Thai clinch. He lands a big knee to the head that stumbles Truck - he's in trouble! Another big knee to the head from Champion, and another! Truck is out on his feet - the ref jumps in to save him and ends the fight!
