Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Franco Gomez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Machado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gomez kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Bad Motherfucker. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Carlos Machado enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machado shoots in for a double leg but Gomez sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Gomez feints and as Machado raises his hands in defense, Gomez changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Machado is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Gomez is aware though and is defending well.
Gomez wants to control from the top but Machado keeps moving.
Gomez drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Machado manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Gomez has Machado in his guard.
Gomez bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Machado's guard.
Gomez trying to control but Machado is working from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Machado has his foot on Gomez's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Gomez works his way back into a safe position though.
Machado has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Gomez doesn't defend quickly enough and Machado has managed to lock this one up! Can Gomez escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Machado on a fantastic submission victory.

A less than humble Carlos Machado misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
