Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Aires Esposito (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kawaki Inoshita (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Aires Esposito!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kawaki Inoshita!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Inoshita drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Esposito keeping his opponent close.
Esposito is trying to control Inoshita's posture but Inoshita avoids it.
Inoshita in the domination position with Esposito hanging on.
Inoshita works to advance to full mount. Esposito defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Esposito tries to buck Inoshita off but he can't manage it.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Esposito is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Esposito manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Inoshita on his heels. He'll look to pass Inoshita's guard now, I'm sure.
Inoshita is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Kawaki Inoshita showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Esposito seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

I would just about give that final round to Kawaki Inoshita.
Well Inoshita has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
