Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Matt Ghandi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jesus Trace!
The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Luis Engracia and Matheus Silva.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trace throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
The fight stays on the outside here - Trace looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Ghandi shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Trace as he jumps to the side.

Ghandi feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Ghandi stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Trace swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Trace looking to hit a scissor sweep but Ghandi is one step ahead there.
Ghandi loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Trace is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Trace is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ghandi tries to free his leg and advance position but Trace is retaining full guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Ghandi fails with the takedown.
Ghandi shoots in but Trace avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Matt Ghandi. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Trace looks to score with a jab to the body but Ghandi is just out of range.
Ghandi closes this distance looking for a takedown but Trace circles away.
Trace scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Trace lands with a right that hurts Ghandi. Ghandi looks to clinch but Trace throws a short knee that drops Ghandi. This one is all over!
