Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Amr Al As (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Momochi Hanzo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big right from Hanzo misses.

Al As has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Al As throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Hanzo stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Al As checks a leg kick.
Al As swings and misses with a hook to the body.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Hanzo! But no joy.
Al As avoids the body shot from Hanzo.
Al As scores with a jab. Hanzo acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Al As tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Hanzo manages to circle out of the way.
Momochi Hanzo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Al As moves into range and clinches up with Hanzo.
Hanzo lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Hanzo throws a head punch that misses.
Hanzo lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Hanzo is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Al As feints and then cracks Hanzo's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Hanzo down.

Al As is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Al As lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the ropes.
Hanzo lands an uppercut.
Al As scores with a shoulder strike.
Al As blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Al As rushes Hanzo and presses him up against the ropes.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Hanzo can't find room to land a body shot as Al As controls the action.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Hanzo swings wildly with an uppercut but Al As uses good head movement to avoid it.
Hanzo has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Al As seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Hanzo can turn it around.

That was a close round but I would say that Amr Al As will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Al As throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

and Hanzo counters with a three punch combo that has Al As backing up. Al As nods at Hanzo to acknowledge the strikes.
Hanzo walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Al As checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Al As lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Hanzo backwards.

Al As blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Hanzo has a couple of punches blocked by Al As.

Al As fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Hanzo has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Hanzo throws a shot from downtown. Al As moves away and avoids it.

Hanzo stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Al As.
Hanzo feints and then cracks Al As's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Al As down.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

A close second round but Momochi Hanzo will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Al As displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Hanzo throws out the jab.

and Al As counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Hanzo throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Hanzo lands with a slapping head kick.
BOOM! Al As lands a beautiful left hook that drops Hanzo. Hanzo tries to recover but Al As is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Hanzo lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
