He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Igor Knyaz has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Brain Estes's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knyaz tries to close the distance and clinch up but Estes swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Knyaz is pawing at Estes, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Estes's nose. Estes is badly hurt! Knyaz pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Estes tries desperately to hold on but Knyaz is relentless in his assault! As Estes receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Knyaz away and this one is in the books!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Igor Knyaz!
