Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Arden Carter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Grayson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Arden Carter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jake Grayson!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, John Mangel and Ron Honeybunn.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grayson misses with the body kick

and Carter counters with a shoot takedown. Grayson fights it but they end up in guard.
Grayson managing to control the position.
Carter won't allow Grayson to get back to his feet.
Grayson is looking to sweep but instead, Carter has passed into half guard.
Carter really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Grayson has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Carter is working away from the top position though.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Grayson is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment.

Carter has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Grayson tries to lock up and control but Carter gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Carter cracks Grayson with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Grayson is in a horrible position here. Carter smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Grayson might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Carter haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Carter has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Grayson is on him like a limpet, forcing Carter back against the cage.

That was a close second round but I would say that Arden Carter will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
