Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tang Kufung (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yoshiro Takana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kufung's entrance music is ON BOOT STREET. A fine choice. Tang Kufung has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kufung tries to clinch up.
Takana throws a solid leg kick but Kufung takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Takana.
Takana bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Kufung's head backwards.

Kufung postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Takana is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Kufung, into his guard.

Takana swats away the attempt to clinch by Kufung.

Kufung throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Takana's waist but Takana gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kufung off to one side.
The fight stays on the outside here - Kufung looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Tang Kufung seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kufung fails with an attempt to clinch.
Takana lands with a straight right. Kufung didn't see that one coming.
