Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tupac Fashur (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and DJ Peen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Peen has chosen Fatman Scoop - Put Your Hands Up as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fashur misses with a double jab.

Fashur closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Peen tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Peen is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Peen sneaks back into half guard.
Peen is trying to get back to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fashur seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Peen wants to control but Fashur is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Peen keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Peen misses with a takedown attempt
and Fashur counters with a right hand to the body.

and Fashur counters with a nice double leg into side control. Peen won't be happy with that.
Fashur controls the position.
Peen tries to improve position but can't.
Fashur tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Fashur tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.

Fashur decides to stand back up. Fashur steps back and let's Peen get back to his feet.
Peen has his takedown stuffed
and Fashur counters with a nice low kick that buckles Peen's knee momentarily.
Tupac Fashur has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of DJ Peen.
Fashur lands a jab-cross combination.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Peen is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Fashur has hold of one of Peen's legs. Peen is fighting the takedown attempt but Fashur gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Fashur avoids the attempt from Peen to control.
Peen tries to reverse the position but Fashur maintains control.
Peen sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Fashur wants to pass to mount but Peen is defending the position.
Fashur seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Fashur shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Peen is in all sorts of trouble here.

Peen tries to lock up and control but Fashur gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Fashur prevents Peen from getting the reversal.
Fashur can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Peen is looking to escape.
Peen wants to control but Fashur is having none of it.

Peen is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Fashur pulls his head out easily.

Fashur wants to stand but Peen has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Peen working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Fashur doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Fashur manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

That's time! Fashur's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Peen tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Peen tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Fashur just stands there and leans against the cage.

Fashur's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Fashur tries to clinch there but Peen circles away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Fashur counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Fashur scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Peen is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Peen is trying to drag Fashur to the mat but Fashur just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Fashur gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Peen.

Fashur breaks the clinch.
Fashur misses with a series of wild punches.
Fashur looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
DJ Peen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fashur throws a nice looking combination but Peen bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Peen gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Fashur cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Peen is rocked!
A big right followed by a crushing left from Fashur knocks Peen out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
