The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rutten avoids the head kick by Mau.
Mau looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Mau takes a kick to the side of the head.
It looks like Guguinha Mau has been cut.
Rutten shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rutten wants to control from the top but Mau keeps moving.
